Every year almost over a million students appear for the JEE mains exam and from them, nearly 2.24 lakh students are shortlisted for the JEE advanced exam. The JEE advanced exam is conducted by the 7 zonal IITs under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) every year.
